Don your scarcest apparel and head to Union Square at 3pm for the NYC Water Gun Fight, a sopping-wet precursor to September 8’s Street Wars, a tourney that lasts three weeks and involves hundreds of gamers. The fracas last blew through New York in 2005—at which time Mayor Bloomberg said organizer Franz Aliquo, a.k.a. the Supreme Commander (pictured here with our cover girls), needed “psychiatric help.” Though the fight is free, it’s BYOG.

And they get photo shoots with women holding squirt guns. Bastards.

So, what does Denver Squirt Gun Association have? Spirit. Spirit, damn right. And a match. Friday. Same place, different time: 6 p.m. Friday. No weaponry? No problem. We’ve got extras.
